Every Day Is Different. Every Task Matters. Join a Team That Gets It Done
At Van Zuilen Family Farms, you’re more than an employee — you’re part of a team that takes pride in caring for livestock, solving problems, and getting the job done right. Our fast-paced environment means no two days are exactly the same, offering hands-on work, new challenges, and opportunities to learn and grow with a family-owned and driven operation.
As a Diesel Mechanic & Shop Supervisor, you'll be responsible for coordinating the daily workflow of the shop while working closely with the Shop Director to keep equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. You'll prioritize repair requests based on operational needs, coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and ensure repairs are completed with a high standard of workmanship and safety. The ideal candidate is able to work independently, make sound decisions regarding repair priorities, communicate effectively with the Shop Director to keep work aligned with operational goals, and help maintain an organized, productive shop environment that supports the success of our farming operations.
