Job Summary
We are a truck dealership based in, Texas, specializing in the transit of trucks from different states. This role involves driving non-CDL, Class C box trucks to pick up and deliver trucks from large dealerships throughout the region. Our drivers are flown out at our expense to various locations and are responsible for transporting trucks efficiently and safely. This position offers an opportunity to earn competitive weekly income, with potential earnings up to $2,800.
Duties
- Operate non-CDL, Class C box trucks to pick up and deliver trucks from large dealerships across and surrounding areas.
- Fly out to different locations at the company's expense for pickup assignments.
- Safely load, secure, and unload trucks during transit to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and dealership personnel regarding schedules and delivery status.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition before each trip.
Skills
- Valid non-CDL, Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate box trucks safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for record keeping and compliance.
- Good communication skills for coordination with dispatch and dealership staff.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in various locations.
- Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to different pickup locations throughout.
