A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing services to middle and high school students in Straughn, IN. This role offers a unique opportunity to support a caseload of 5 to 10 students, with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate district needs. Virtual work may be possible depending on individual IEP requirements.
Key Qualifications and Credentials:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Indiana
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience with school-based speech therapy and telespeech services
- Ability to work effectively with middle and high school age groups
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Manage and maintain accurate caseload documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students’ communication development
- Adapt therapy delivery methods, including virtual sessions, when appropriate
Work schedule and details:
- Contract start date: August 10, 2026, through May 24, 2027
- Average of 4 to 6 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options offered by the district
- Serve a caseload of 5-10 students primarily at the secondary education level
