STS is currently hiring a PCA's to work in the Lower Moreland School District at Murray Ave Middle School!
Under the direction and supervision by the certified professional (teacher), a PCA works one-to-one or with a small group of students, to provide physical and behavioral support and activities.
~Monday through Friday, 7:45AM-3:15PM
~Pay Rate: $20.23/hr
Summary
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting students with diverse learning needs and disabilities within the classroom environment. Reporting to the special education teacher, your role will focus on implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Core skills in classroom management, communication, and behavior management will be essential, along with premium skills in working with children with autism and developmental disabilities. Your relevant experience in lesson planning and early childhood education will enhance the educational experience for all students, ensuring their growth and success.
