Krazy Kooters in San Clemente is seeking an outgoing Shift Lead to join our FOH team!
Our ideal applicant is a confident self-starter with solid communication skills. Someone that embodies the Krazy Kooters Culture and truly cares about their team and customers! Our Shift Lead will work closely with our awesome General Manager to help build a team of top performers, creating an amazing customer experience, and empowering their team to be at their very best.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Help manage breaks
- Assist management with private parties
- Assist with managing the flow of service
- Table visits with a hands on attitude. Not afraid to serve, bartender, expo, etc
- Exceptional customer service skills, lead by example
- Perform end of shift check outs for staff on shift
- Help Train and manage employees and assign duties as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Supports GM in managing compliance of Company policies & procedures
- Help management maintain appropriate inventory levels, reorder and restock when necessary
- Cover the shifts of absent employees when necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous food service experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Be outgoing, friendly, and helpful
- Be able to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through
- Be someone who will go above and beyond to provide a great experience to every customer
- Be a team player who has the ability to effectively motivate and lead their team
- Have strong math skills and cash handling experience
- Have 3+ years of Restaurant Cashier or Retail experience
- Have excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate, develop and maintain a close, effective relationship with team, upper management and owners
Requirements:
- ServSafe Certifications (Food & Alcohol)
- Available to work AM, PM, Weekend and Some Holiday Shifts
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand and walk for approximately 95-100% of shift including ability to lift and carry a max of 50 pounds.
