Full-Time Year-Round Position
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Drive a regular route and trips as assigned. Demonstrate flexibility while being on call to work emergency and weekend schedules; perform tasks assigned by supervisors. Tasks can include but are not limited to: snow removal, report and perform building repairs; to include general preventative maintenance, damage, and/or unusual circumstances; Secure buildings to include entrances and exits, lighting and windows as needed. Move furniture or equipment district wide as assigned. Keep all buildings and grounds neat and clean at all times, to include sidewalks, stairwells, corridors, driveways, trash bins, lawns, etc. Custodial support as needed. Keep the grounds free from rubbish and perform landscaping duties as assigned. Comply with district policies, local, state, and federal laws and regulations that govern all parts of job duties. Works cooperatively with colleagues while following supervisor instruction. All duties are performed district-wide. This list is not comprehensive.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must demonstrate aptitude and/or competence for assigned responsibilities. Good physical health. 90-day probationary period. MUST OBTAIN CLASS B CDL, (Bus Driver Trainer on-site). A background check will be required. Pre-employment and random drug testing throughout the school year is required. School Board approval required.

Pursuant to Chapter 486, Washington Laws of 1987, a recommended applicant, if not a current regular employee, will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating whether he or she has been convicted of crimes against persons listed in the law. In addition, a background check based on finger prints, will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI. Employment is conditional based upon completion of the record check.
