Septic/Grease Pumping Truck Driver / Technician - Class A or B CDL Driver
Purge Environmental is a locally owned and operated provider of septic tank, grease trap, and wastewater pumping and cleaning services. We service customers throughout central Indiana and are seeking highly motivated and dependable team members who want to be part of a rapidly growing company.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake and tanker endorsement with clean MVR.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times a day and work outdoors in all weather conditions while performing manual labor tasks such as digging septic tank lids by hand, carrying hoses, probing for septic tank lids, etc.
- Ability to start shift as early as 5:00am and work late as needed.
- Ability to reliably work Monday through Friday.
- Ability to effectively use technology and software.
- Excellence in time management, worth ethic, and ability to work independently.
- Must be located in Central Indiana.
- Must be able to pass background checks, drug screening, and DOT physical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Driving a newer single axle or tandem axle septic truck to various job sites throughout Central Indiana.
- Locate, sometimes dig, and pump septic tanks and grease traps.
- Connect, disconnect, carry, and stow hoses.
- Effectively communicate with customers before, during, and after jobs while performing exceptional customer service.
- Clean and perform light maintenance on trucks.
- Ensure truck is fully equipped with all standard supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of pumping and disposal, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving
Benefits
- Hourly rate: $32.50-36.50 depending on experience and skillset.
- Full time work between 40-55+ hours.
