Job Description:
Altus Property Partners, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in property maintenance and be comfortable working on both tenant-occupied and vacant properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Interior Maintenance:
Electrical:
- Changing light bulbs
- Installing smoke detectors
- Installing carbon monoxide detectors
- Changing furnace filters
- Installing window AC units
- Programming universal garage remotes
Plumbing:
- Fixing plumbing leaks
- Resetting and replacing bathroom toilets
- Changing a bathroom vanity
- Changing out faucets and cartridges for the faucets
- Unclogging drains
Carpentry:
- Hanging interior doors
- Drywall repair, patch, and paint
- Installing laminate flooring
- Changing out kitchen cabinets
- Changing door locks (interior and exterior doors)
- Closet door repair for off track
- Install blinds and window treatments
- Installing Trim and casing
General Maintenance:
- Patching drywall and painting walls
- Move out inspection walkthroughs
- Attending property inspections with the villages
- Posting 24-hour notices to enter on tenants’ doors
- Trips to Home Depot, Menards, and other stores as needed
Exterior Maintenance:

- Screen door repairs
- Window screen repairs
- Door and gate repairs
- Window repairs
- Porch repairs
- Installation of new screen doors
- Screen door lock repair
General Maintenance:
- Trash cleanings in the parking lots and on property grounds
- Placing rock salt for exterior areas during winter
- Sealcoating driveways
- Gutter cleaning
- Lawn maintenance
Coordination:
- Meeting the utility companies
- Attending village inspections
- Make copies of keys for lockboxes
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily, single family or association property maintenance.
- Strong knowledge for maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be comfortable working on properties that are tenant-occupied and vacant.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to use a smartphone for pictures and videos
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
