Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Managing Investigator to join our Disputes Practice in London. You will lead multi-jurisdictional investigations that support litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters, shape case strategy, and ensure the production of litigation ready findings.
In this senior role, you will guide investigative direction, mentor case teams, and elevate the practice through methodological innovation and expert level case execution.
Lead Complex Disputes Investigations

Direct multi-jurisdictional investigations supporting litigation, arbitration, and regulatory inquiries.

Develop and refine investigative case strategy in partnership with legal teams.

Oversee asset tracing, public records analysis, chronology building, and evidentiary research.

Synthesize findings into strategic, litigation ready reports that withstand adversarial scrutiny.
Process Improvement and Research Innovation

Introduce tools, workflows, and best practices tailored to disputes work.

Strengthen evidentiary research standards and case documentation protocols.

Ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and professional requirements across all matters.
Case and Client Management

Serve as a primary point of contact for attorneys and corporate clients.

Oversee case budgets, staffing, timelines, and deliverables.

Advise clients on investigative strategy to support their litigation or arbitration objectives.
Mentorship and Leadership

Train and mentor case managers and junior investigators in disputes focused methods.

Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across disputes teams.

Contribute to firm wide development of investigative methodologies and best practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re looking for candidates with a strong base of experience in the disputes sector and established management skills. A consistent case manager with an established background as an encouraging and capable people manger will be the ideal candidate for this role.
With that in mind, the ideal candidate will bring many of the skills and experiences listed below.
Experience: The ideal candidate will likely have around 6 to 9 years’ experience in disputes, litigation support, or investigative work within professional services or risk advisory, although we will be happy to consider candidates with varied experience levels who can motivate their skills as they apply to this vacancy.-
Research Skills: Research and Analysis Mastery of public records, open-source research, and evidentiary analysis.

Writing Skills: Proven ability to produce polished, litigation ready investigative reports.

Judgment: The ability to anticipate case needs, connect complex facts, and identify strategic insights.

Project Management: Demonstrated capacity to lead large matters and manage competing deadlines.

Languages: As a result of the global nature of our work an ability to read and research to a professional level with any additional languages will be beneficial.
This role involves a hybrid work setup, candidates are required to work in New York or Washington DC.
