Overview
We are urgently hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in West Virginia. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and immunizations, following aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding management, and wound care in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Manage acute and chronic pain through appropriate interventions; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive pain management strategies.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of West Virginia or eligible for licensure transfer.
- Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency room (ER), ICU/CCU, long-term care facilities, or outpatient clinics.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or Athenahealth; familiarity with medical documentation standards.
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures including IV insertion, venipuncture, sterile processing, and infection control practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is highly desirable.
