Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions across the lifespan
- Manage psychotropic medications and treatment plans
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide patient-centered, evidence-based psychiatric care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Participate in treatment planning and ongoing clinical collaboration
QualificationsRequired
- Active PMHNP license in Utah
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority
- Strong diagnostic and medication management skills
- Commitment to evidence-based psychiatric care
Preferred
- Previous outpatient psychiatry experience
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult populations
- Familiarity with treatment-resistant depression and interventional psychiatry
- Confidence managing complex psychiatric presentations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
