Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Morning Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere during breakfast and brunch hours. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will ensure each guest’s experience is memorable from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate will possess strong food service skills, a passion for hospitality, and experience working in fast-paced, fine dining environments. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest requests, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience
- Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and bussing tables as needed to support smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; OpenTable experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport quickly
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy morning hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and POS transactions accurately
- Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering is highly desirable
- Culinary experience or background in food industry roles is advantageous but not required
