Join our dynamic construction team as an Apprentice Carpenter/Laborer and kick-start your career in the skilled trades! Responsibilities
Assist with various carpentry tasks including framing, door hanging, cabinet installation, and flooring installation.
Support the interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely for woodworking, drywall installation, stucco application, and rebar installation.
Participate in heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Learn to use woodworking machines and metal stud framing equipment under supervision.
Assist with restoration projects involving plastering, caulking, rebar placement, and concrete forming.
Contribute to the installation of doors, windows, trim, and cabinetry on residential sites.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old with a strong interest in carpentry or construction trades.
Basic understanding of construction estimating and reading blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
Experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and construction site safety procedures is preferred but not required—training will be provided.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces.
Willingness to learn new skills such as drywall hanging, tile laying, metal stud framing, or flooring installation.
Prior construction experience or handyman background is advantageous but not mandatory—enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are essential.
Reliable transportation to job sites and a commitment to safety standards are required.
