Job Description:
Mica Denim is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the design and product development process by creating accurate technical documentation and ensuring garments are developed according to design intent and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of garment construction and the ability to collaborate effectively with design and production teams. MUST be bilingual Korean/English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed technical specifications, including flat sketches, tech packs, and construction details
- Prepare and update Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop files for technical documentation
- Review samples to ensure garments meet design specifications and quality standards
- Assist with troubleshooting design and construction issues during development
- Collaborate with designers and production teams to ensure accurate garment execution
- Maintain organized records of tech packs, measurements, and development updates
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience as a Technical Designer or in a related role
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of garment construction and technical specifications
- Experience creating tech packs, flat sketches, and construction details
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot design or construction issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in the denim industry preferred but not required
- Fluent Korean speaker required (bilingual in English and Korean)

Pay: $56,224.82 - $67,711.62 per year
