TITLE: Food Service Server
LOCATION: Bennett School District Food Services Department
REPORTS TO: Director of Food Services
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Food Nutrition Services team as a part-time Food Server. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional service to our clients by assisting in the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met while contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with established guidelines and menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area and dining space.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage food service operations during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development as required.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for special events or activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
