No fuel-systems experience is required. This role can start as field labor and support work and grow into a skilled technician position through paid training and supervised experience.
Pay: $26-$30 per hour, based on relevant experience; overtime after 8 hours in a day.
Location: Gilmanton, New Hampshire, with regional field work throughout New England and into Upstate New York.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with a typical 5:30 a.m. start. Spring through fall is our busiest season; workdays may extend to about 11 hours and occasionally 12, with overtime paid after 8 hours. Occasional overnights. No winter layoffs.
Work mix: Inspections, service calls, repairs, pipe and tank work, short projects and occasional larger projects.
Predictability: No 24/7 on-call rotation, no regular weekend work and no winter layoffs.

The Role
We are hiring a reliable, hands-on person who wants to work, learn and build a career in a specialty trade. This can be a fit for a field laborer, construction helper, warehouse or equipment worker, mechanically inclined person or early-career technician. You will start by supporting experienced technicians and take on more technical work as your skills grow. We are a long-established specialty contractor entering our next phase of growth, with continued investment in our people, training, technology, and operating systems.
What You Will Do
- Load, unload, organize and stage tools, materials and equipment.
- Support site preparation, digging, cleanup, material handling and other physical jobsite work.
- Assist with inspections, service calls, repairs, tank work, equipment replacement and field projects.
- Help replace basic components such as nozzles, caps, filters, gaskets, hoses and hardware under supervision.
- Support pipe cutting, threading and fitting and basic electrical tasks under supervision.
- Take clear photographs, measurements and field notes and complete simple written and digital documentation.
- Keep work areas, vehicles and equipment organized and ready for the next assignment.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements and technician direction at all times.
What We Are Looking For
- Reliable attendance and the ability to report for a typical 5:30 a.m. start.
- Willingness to perform physical labor, work outdoors in all seasons and get dirty when the job requires it.
- Ability to follow safety instructions, take direction, ask questions and treat customers and teammates respectfully.
- Ability to use a phone for photographs, messages and simple digital forms; ability to handwrite forms
- Clean driving record and ability to meet applicable DOT requirements.
- Ability to pass a background check and customer mandated drug testing
- Ability to accommodate occasional one- or two-night assignments and rare longer trips.
- Construction, mechanical, automotive, military, equipment, plumbing, pipefitting or electrical experience is helpful but not required. CDL Class A is a plus.
ICC Certification Path: U1, U2, and U5
No ICC certification is required at hire. As skills and field experience grow, the company supports a path toward both ICC U1 - UST Installation/Retrofitting, ICC U2 – UST Decommissioning, and ICC U5 - AST Installation/Retrofitting. The company pays for approved study materials, exam fees, and paid study time. Hourly wage increases are tied to earning applicable ICC certifications, including U1, U2, and U5.
Compensation and Benefits
- $26-$30 per hour, plus overtime after 8 hours in a day.
