Ellen's Stardust Diner is a retro 1950s-themed restaurant located at 1650 Broadway on the southeast corner of 51st Street in the Theater District of Manhattan, New York City. The diner is regarded as one of the best theme restaurants in New York owing to its world-famous singing waitstaff. The diner also features retro-themed memorabilia including photos of past Miss Subways, an indoor train, a 1956 Predicta television, and a “drive-in theater” screen showcasing performances from the 1950s. It remains a favorite destination for both tourists and locals of all ages.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions utilizing Restaurant365 and CTUIT systems
- Review invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and ensure timely and accurate payments
- Monitor incoming payments, prepare deposits, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Coordinate with vendors and maintain professional correspondence regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Assist with payroll processing, payroll batch approvals, and payroll-related employee questions
- Support Management with administrative tasks including scheduling, onboarding paperwork, and reporting
- Maintain employee records including attendance, time sheets, time off requests, expense reports, and incident documentation
- Communicate with the Lessing’s Corporate Office regarding accounting matters, employee relations, and operational inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial and employee information
- Assist with general office operations and provide administrative support as needed
- Represent the company professionally and uphold the values and standards of the organization
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, or office administration
- Experience with Restaurant365 (R365) and/or CTUIT strongly preferred
- Hospitality or restaurant industry experience highly preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting procedures and financial recordkeeping
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and professional writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal wage and hour laws preferred
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
