We are looking for dependable, safety-focused Steel Erectors to join our growing crew. If you have experience in pre-engineered metal building erection and enjoy working on challenging commercial and industrial projects, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
· Erect and install pre-engineered structural steel, joists, decking, and miscellaneous metals.
· Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
· Align, bolt, weld, and secure steel components.
· Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and other jobsite equipment.
· Work safely at heights while following all OSHA and company safety procedures.
· Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience as a steel erector or structural ironworker preferred.
· Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.
· Experience reading construction plans is an asset.
· Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
· OSHA 10/30 certification, rigging, signal person, forklift, manlift and / or welding certifications are a plus.
· Forklift & manlift certification
