Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and offering recommendations.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions are noted.
- Serve food and drinks to guests while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, including setup and breakdown of events.
- Provide support in food preparation when necessary, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; certification is a plus.
- Experience as a dietary aide or in food preparation is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across all departments.
