*This position is responsible for dimensional checks for in process, first-article and final inspections of parts. Must be fluent in fabrication/machining blueprint reading as well as dimensional measuring with tape measure and dial calipers. (This is not a visual quality inspector position.)*
Successful completion of written and practical dimensional inspection skills assessment is required to receive a job offer.

JOB REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
*1 year minimum experience in dimensional inspection of fabricated & machined parts.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Strong attention to detail.
*Fluent in use of tape measure, calipers, micrometer and other measuring tools.
*Strong ability to read blueprints.
*Ability to identify Carbon Steel, Galvanized Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.
*Email/Internet proficiency.
*Strong formal report writing skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
*MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
*CAD/CAM design experience. (AutoCAD)
*3-axis Manual/CNC milling experience.
*CMM device experience.
Hours are 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, with occasional overtime available on Fridays.
