We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented farmhand to add to our team at our well-maintained horse farm in Roanoke.
About the Farm:
Our farm is home to three large horses, one medium-sized horse, and one small pony. We prioritize the care and safety of our animals and the cleanliness of our facility.
Responsibilities Include:
- Turning horses in/out of paddocks (experience or willingness to learn required)
- Mucking stalls and cleaning the barn
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace (barn must be clean before leaving)
- Lifting and carrying hay bales and grain bags
- Operating a large tractor (experience required)
- General landscaping
- General handyman tasks (a plus, but not required)
Requirements:
- Experience handling horses, or willingness to learn safely and respectfully
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items
- Comfortable working independently
- Absolutely no smoking or vaping on the property
- No personal phone use during working hours
- Must be on time, dependable, and take pride in your work
- No criminal record of any kind – background checks are conducted and any history will disqualify applicants

- Pay will be based on experience and discussed during the interview
