American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Postpartum/Mother-Baby unit requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Hospital-based 3 North Postpartum/Mother-Baby unit with 23 beds
-
Unit staffed with approximately 80 team members including RNs, charge nurses, and CNAs

Estimated patient ratio of 3-4:1 (not guaranteed)

Uses Meditech / CPN EMR system

Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

13-week assignment

- Active CO or compact RN license required

Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Postpartum/Mother-Baby experience required

BLS and NRP certifications required

Mother/Baby unit experience preferred

Flexible schedule and ability to adapt quickly to new situations preferred

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing perineal care

Educate parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding
-
Ideal candidates are compassionate, patient, and strong team players with excellent communication skills

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
