Position Overview: We are seeking a polished, professional, and high energy Medical Receptionist who blends exceptional administrative talent with a warm, empathetic demeanor and a passion for the aesthetics industry. The ideal candidate is on organized, collaborative, and possesses a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
· Answer practice phones timely exhibiting excellent communication, customer service skills, and phone
· Respond to patients in a timely manner
etiquette.
· Schedule medical and specialty appointments according to provider preferences and protocols.
· Obtain and update patient demographic and insurance information in the EMR or practice management
system.
· Reschedule and cancel appointments as requested from patients and/or office.
· Communicate appropriate instructions and distribute paperwork for specific diagnostic testing ordered.
· Confirm specialty testing ordered prior to scheduling by verifying physician chart notes.
· Direct calls and messages to correct office staff.
· Assist with patient reschedules as needed by office and staff.
· Communicate and respond to emails, task, and/or intramail timely.
· Ability to communicate in the English language in person, by phone, and in writing.
· Exhibits expertise in ENT terminology.
· Ensure the patient is medical stable
· Reports on all patient and employee incidents to Office Manager immediately in accordance with ENTAAF
policy. After ensuring patient/employee/self is medically stable and assists in documentation.
· Demonstrates full understanding of all position related systems including but not limited to our registration
system, EMR, Payroll System, Audiology Software, Training Software, Office Suite, and office workflows,
etc.
· Adherence to all policies and procedures including safety standards, OSHA, HIPAA, attendance,
punctuality, personal appearance, and code of conduct.
· Adherence to Company’s Employee Handbook, policies and procedures.
· Adherence to Commitment to My Co-Worker.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· May be required to travel based on practice needs.

Experience:
-Medical receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
-Aesthetic or cosmetic: 1 year (Preferred)
-Prior insurance verification/medical coding a plus
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
