The primary purpose of this role is to sort record and prepare laundry for distribution throughout the facility. Transport both clean and soiled laundry to and from designated areas, launder and label residents personal clothing.
Qualifications: Experience and Education:
Prior experience is preferred.
Positive and friendly demeanor when working with residents, families and co-workers.
Must have good communication skills when coordinating tasks with coworkers.
Laundry Attendants often have multiple duties to perform during each shift while also ensuring that laundry is ready for pickup or delivery within certain time frames, so an ability to multitask is an essential quality.
Pay Range: $17.00/hr.-$23.50/hr.
