Job Summary

Duties
- Supervise children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and well-being
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that supports children's health and safety standards
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities
- Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and resolve conflicts effectively
- Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of neglect or abuse and reporting concerns promptly
- Assist with basic caregiving tasks such as diapering infants, feeding young children, and supporting developmental milestones
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education best practices
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong child supervision skills combined with the ability to engage children through activity planning for their growth and enjoyment
- Familiarity with classroom experience or daycare environments enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols, mandated reporting laws, and behavior management strategies

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
