Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Roll-Off Driver, where you'll be the driving force behind efficient waste removal and material handling operations. In this energetic role, you'll operate specialized roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste, recyclables, or other freight safely and reliably. Your expertise in truck driving and route management will ensure timely pickups and deliveries, contributing to the smooth functioning of our waste management services. Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks to load, transport, and unload waste containers at various customer sites.
- Manage route driving schedules efficiently to ensure timely pickups and deliveries across designated areas.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic lifts, ensuring secure handling of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to maintain safety standards and vehicle readiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, fuel usage, and service logs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies while operating commercial vehicles.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating Roll-Off trucks preferred but not required; training available for qualified candidates.
- Prior experience driving Roll-Off trucks in a commercial setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of freight handling equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Ability to load & unload roll-off containers efficiently while following safety procedures.
- Strong route driving skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks as needed.
