Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Contractor Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the on-site workforce, supporting various phases of construction projects by performing physically demanding tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site. Your energy and proactive attitude will help drive projects forward and contribute to a safe, productive work environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers in their daily tasks
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, ensuring proper use and maintenance
- Help with site cleanup at the end of each workday to ensure a safe environment for everyone
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor throughout long shifts
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work well within a team environment
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward completing assigned duties
- Prior experience in construction or labor roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided
