We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Supervisor to join our multifamily apartment community team. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who takes pride in their work, communicates well with residents and staff, and is willing to do what it takes to solve problems and keep the community running smoothly.
Our community is a newer, well-maintained 5-year-old apartment community focused on providing excellent service and a clean, safe living environment for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations for the apartment community
- Troubleshoot and complete service requests in a timely manner
- Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, and general repair work
- Ensure vacant apartments are turned efficiently and ready for move-in
- Maintain curb appeal and overall property appearance
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections
- Lead and support maintenance team members
- Participate in an on-call rotation every other week for after-hours emergencies
- Maintain excellent customer service with residents and vendors
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance experience required: 3+ years.
- Prior supervisory or lead maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC/EPA Certification preferred
- CPO Certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
