Will complete treatments per initial evaluation completed by a physical therapist; monitor response to treatment and modify treatment appropriately. Patient populations include but are not limited to Stroke, Orthopedics, TBI, Trauma. Provide quality and evidence-based treatments while completing the appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Collaborate with other health care providers and families.
Associates degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant, NYS License or eligible and two years eligible clinical experience required.
Candidates who possess an Associates degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant, NYS licensure or Limited Permit or eligible and less than 2 years experience will be considered for appointment to an entry level (SL1) position at commensurate salary.
CPR certification required by time of appointment.
At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred
Must be available to work at least two weekend days a month, day shift.
