Job Summary
A growing personal injury law practice in Indianapolis, Indiana, is hiring a Bilingual Paralegal fluent in Spanish and English to manage case files, run client intakes, and provide day-to-day litigation support for two attorneys. Roughly 70–80% of the caseload involves Spanish-speaking clients, so strong bilingual communication is central to this role.
This is a brand-new position created because of client growth, not a replacement hire. Candidates coming from legal assistant, case manager, or paralegal backgrounds in a law firm setting are encouraged to apply, you do not need a formal paralegal certification or degree, just real experience working inside a legal office.

- Serve as the primary bilingual point of contact for English- and Spanish-speaking clients throughout their personal injury case
- Conduct client intakes, gathering case details clearly and professionally in either language
- Open, organize, and maintain personal injury case files from start to finish
- Track deadlines and provide litigation support so attorneys stay prepared for filings and hearings
- Keep case management records accurate and up to date using the firm's case management system
- Flag scheduling conflicts or workflow bottlenecks and suggest fixes before they become problems
- Close out resolved files with complete, well-organized documentation
Requirements

- Comfortable managing multiple active case files at once in a fast-moving environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Strong client service instincts and the ability to build trust quickly, especially with clients unfamiliar with the legal process
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience specifically in personal injury or plaintiff-side litigation
- Familiarity with legal case management software such as NEOS (training provided if you haven't used it)
- Formal paralegal certificate or degree
