General Manager – Upscale Sports Lounge
We are seeking a refined and experienced General Manager to lead an upscale sports lounge that blends elevated hospitality with a sophisticated sports-driven atmosphere. This role is ideal for a proven hospitality leader with 6+ years of General Manager experience, a comprehensive understanding of global and domestic sports, and the ability to cultivate meaningful relationships within the local sports community.
The General Manager will serve as the face of the venue—setting standards, leading teams, and creating an environment where exceptional service and sports culture coexist seamlessly.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership for daily operations, ensuring a polished, high-level guest experience
- Establish and maintain service, food, and beverage standards aligned with an upscale brand
- Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing management and service team
- Maintain a visible leadership presence during peak business periods and major sporting events
- Oversee strategic sports programming across multiple leagues including soccer, Formula 1, golf, football, baseball, tennis, and other premier events
- Build and nurture relationships with local sports clubs, leagues, corporate partners, and community organizations
- Actively represent the brand through networking, community involvement, and hosted events
- Collaborate with ownership and marketing to curate elevated events, watch parties, and private bookings
- Manage financial performance including labor, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of experience as a General Manager in an upscale or high-volume restaurant or hospitality concept
- Extensive knowledge of domestic and international sports and leagues
- Demonstrated success building community partnerships and driving event-based revenue
- Strong leadership presence with exceptional communication skills
- Proven financial and operational expertise
- Flexible availability to support evenings, weekends, and major sporting events

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
