Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Specialist to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral interventions. In this role, you will lead clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide expert supervision to support children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral psychological assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify client needs and inform intervention strategies
- Experience working in school setting very important
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and client progress
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and junior staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in ABA and ethical standards
- Perform patient assessments, including intake evaluations, to establish baseline behaviors and set achievable goals
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to track progress and modify interventions as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including special education professionals, medical providers, and caregivers—to ensure holistic support for clients
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and documentation of all client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Support families through training on behavior management techniques and ongoing communication about client progress
- Conduct school visits or home-based sessions to deliver behavioral health services in various environments
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to autism spectrum disorders support, clinical supervision, and behavioral health best practices
Qualifications
- Valid BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or equivalent credential required
- Experience working with children with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), including experience with behavioral intervention strategies and functional assessment methods
- Proven ability to perform behavioral psychological assessments such as diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior assessments (FBA)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in clinical or home-based settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards necessary for patient care documentation
- Excellent client communication skills to effectively engage children, families, educators, and healthcare providers
- Prior experience in school settings or home-based behavioral therapy is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team environment
