Field Technician 1 – Concrete Landscape Edging Installer A Better Edge Inc. | Colorado Springs to South Denver (Front Range)
Job Overview
A Better Edge Inc. is hiring hardworking, dependable Field Technicians to join our growing concrete landscape edging installation team. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced outdoor role ideal for individuals who take pride in quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and producing professional results.
As a Field Technician 1, you will assist with the full installation process of decorative concrete landscape edging, including site prep, mixing, pouring, shaping, finishing, cleanup, and equipment care.
Compensation
- Starting pay: $20/hour
- Full-time seasonal position

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of concrete landscape edging and related landscape features
- Perform site preparation, trenching, material loading/unloading, and setup
- Mix, pour, shape, and finish concrete edging
- Maintain production pace to support crew efficiency
- Reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary downtime
- Ensure jobsites meet A Better Edge quality standards
- Complete daily cleanup and proper equipment maintenance
- Follow crew leader and management direction
- Communicate issues quickly and professionally
- Represent the company professionally with clients and team members
Physical Requirements
This position is highly physical and requires:
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and standing
- Repetitive lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Fast-paced manual labor for extended hours
- Ability to work around concrete, machinery, and construction tools
- High stamina and urgency throughout the workday
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Construction, landscaping, concrete, or outdoor labor experience preferred
- Ability to work hard in a physically demanding environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow systems, directions, and safety standards
- Basic smartphone skills for time tracking and communication
