Sour Sisters | Part-Time + Contract/SeasonalPay: $15–$20/hour based on experience + mileage reimbursement
Sour Sisters is looking for two dependable Trailer Transport Managers to help move our mobile units to events throughout the season. Think of this role as a local truck-driving position—but instead of long-haul routes, you’ll be towing our event trailers to sporting events, festivals, schools, and community events throughout the area.
This is a behind-the-scenes position with little to no customer interaction and is a great fit for someone looking for a second job with primarily evening and weekend work.
What You’ll Do
- Pick up and tow our 12-ft and 16-ft event trailers to scheduled events
- Safely back, park, and position trailers in designated vendor spaces
- Communicate with event organizers or onsite contacts upon arrival to confirm placement and setup location
- Complete basic trailer setup and secure the unit for our event staff
- Return to pick up trailers after events and transport them back to their designated location
- Perform basic pre-trip checks and communicate any trailer or equipment concerns
- Maintain dependable communication regarding pickup, delivery, and event schedules
You will NOT be responsible for serving customers, making drinks, operating the event, or managing event staff. Your primary responsibility is getting our trailers where they need to be safely and on time.
Schedule
This is a part-time, seasonal/contract position with hours based on our event schedule.
Most work will take place:
- Thursday and Friday evenings
- Saturdays
- Some Sundays
- Occasional weekday events
This is a great second job for someone with a flexible evening/weekend schedule who wants additional seasonal income without committing to traditional part-time shifts.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle capable of safely towing both our 12-ft and 16-ft trailers
- Must have appropriate hitch/towing equipment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be comfortable and experienced towing, backing, parking, and maneuvering trailers
- Dependable and punctual—our events operate on strict arrival and pickup times
- Comfortable communicating professionally with event organizers and venue staff
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Evening and weekend availability
Previous experience with trailer towing, trucking, RVs, equipment hauling, landscaping trailers, construction trailers, livestock trailers, or similar towing experience is a major plus.
Compensation
$15–$20/hour based on towing experience + mileage reimbursement
We are currently looking to add two people to our trailer transport team for our seasonal event schedule.
If you’re comfortable behind the wheel, confident towing and backing trailers, and looking for flexible evening and weekend work, we’d love to hear from you!
