Summary/Objective
This position manages the assembly of perforating guns specific to the customer requirements.
Essential Functions

- Show up on time
- Load perforating guns per company policy
- Follow gun building procedures provided by Shop manager
- Maintains a clean work environment by cleaning 3x daily
- Reports supplies used to inventory control daily
- Properly labels guns upon completion of assembly
- Follow proper hand tool and power tool policy
Required Skills
- Language Skills – ability to read and interpret documents such as safety manuals, operations instructions and policies/procedures; ability to write reports and simple correspondence and effective communicate/present information to groups of coworkers, customers or employees
- Advanced Math Skills – ability to apply mathematical concepts such fractions, ratios, percentages and proportions to practical situations
- Reasoning Skills – ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; ability to solve practical problems quickly and efficiently

Work Environment
The performance of this position will require exposure to hazardous conditions in a shop environment, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Must be able to respond to calls 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Four to six years’ related experience or training
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- ATF Responsible Person of Explosives
- Class B CDL with Hazmat
- H2S Certification
