Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Oakland, CA for an established, family-owned independent repair shop serving the community since 1984. This opportunity offers $50/hour plus bonus opportunities, with total earning potential up to $130,000+ annually. You'll work Monday-Friday with no weekends in a clean, high-tech facility with modern diagnostic equipment and a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment, including Snap-on, DrivePro, and Autoland.
- Complete repairs while maintaining high standards for quality and accuracy.
- Apply diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to complex vehicle concerns.
- Work collaboratively with the shop team to support an efficient repair process.
Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on professional automotive repair experience.
- A-Level or strong B-Level automotive repair experience.
- Automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with a willingness to continue developing those skills.
- Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical concerns.
- ASE certifications preferred but not required.
- Smog license is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate professional work habits and contribute positively to a team environment.
