Assists wait staff, maintains cleanliness and keeps all service areas supplied with clean utensils, china, glasses, water and other non-alcoholic beverages, condiments and ice. Removes soiled dishware and carries trays. Moves furniture and other related duties incidental to food service.
1. Assists wait staff in preparing dining areas (stations), sets tables, arranges furniture, stocks condiments and incidental service items, i.e. butter, iced tea, napkins, etc.
2. Assures that the overall appearance of the room is neat and clean, and presents an attractive, inviting and balanced impression to the members and their guests. (All chairs out the same distance and clean, tables in a straight row and an equal distance apart, all seats accessible from both sides, etc.)
3. Presents a neat and clean personal appearance and maintains a positive attitude.
4. Assists with service of food and non-alcoholic beverages, checks for side dishes, butter, cream and bread, as appropriate.
5. Takes to each table butter and cream.
6. Fills and refills water glasses.
7. Assists in carrying food trays to dining areas.
8. Helps re-set dining areas.
9. Assists guests at all times.
10. Pour coffee and tea when necessary.
11. Clears soiled dishes.
12. Clears dirty dishes from stations as needed and at the end of the shift.
13. Takes dirty linen to the laundry room.
14. Assists with private rooms set up.

Carry service trays weighing up to 20 lbs. from kitchen to dining room and back.
