Golden Eagle Log & Timber Homes, North America’s premier log and timber home manufacturer, is celebrating 60 years of excellence. We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Pro Desk On-Line Lumber Sales Coordinator to support our on-line LogHomeMart.Com and production operations.
The role is responsible for managing online lumber sales and supporting professional contractor and builder accounts. This role ensures accurate quoting, order processing, inventory coordination, and exceptional customer service for Pro customers purchasing lumber and building materials through digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to online inquiries, quote requests, and orders for lumber and building materials
- Prepare accurate material take-offs, estimates, and pricing for contractors and builders
- Coordinate order entry, confirmation, and fulfillment with yard, purchasing, and delivery teams
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lumber grades, dimensions, species, engineered wood products, and current market pricing
- Monitor online order status and proactively communicate updates to customers
- Resolve customer concerns related to product availability, substitutions, delivery schedules, or billing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Pro customers to drive repeat business
- Track and follow up on open quotes to convert opportunities into sales
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and credit procedures
- Assist with special orders and vendor coordination when required
- Coordination with yard staff and warehouse personnel for inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in business or construction management preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in lumber sales, building materials, or Pro Desk operations
- Strong understanding of dimensional lumber, treated lumber, plywood/OSB, engineered wood, and related products
- Experience working with contractors, builders, and trade professionals
- Proficiency in POS systems, order management software, and Microsoft Office
- Strong mathematical and estimating skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple quotes and orders in a fast-paced environment

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Overtime as needed
