Assist the teacher in providing a stimulating classroom environment and quality educational experiences to Pre-K children. Assistant teacher will have many responsibilities associated with this job that not listed here. Details will be shared during the interview. You will be working with 4 year-olds. The class has 20 children.
A Georgia’s Pre-K Program assistant teacher must have one of the following credentials/degrees listed below. Please read the list to make sure you have the required education before applying.
- Valid Paraprofessional Certificate (issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission) Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (issued by the Council for Professional Recognition) TCC (Technical Certificate of Credit) in Early Childhood Education TCD (Technical College Diploma) in Early Childhood Education AA, AS, AAS, AAT (Associate Degree) BA, BS (Bachelor Degree) Georgia Teaching Certificate (issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission) MA, MS (Master’s Degree) Specialist Degree or PhD
