Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. In this vital role, you will assist in preparing and serving delicious, nutritious meals for our guests, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Your culinary experience will help create a welcoming atmosphere for every event.
Duties
- Assist with meal preparation, following weekly BEO sheets
- Ability to work with others and guide to prep and execute events properly.
- Must be able to create prep list for events
- Prepare food items according to safety standards in production, handling, and storage
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure cleanliness, proper food handling, and sanitation throughout all kitchen activities
- Aid in catering setup, serving, and cleanup during events or banquets
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety standards in food production and handling
- Proven experience in catering or banquet kitchens
- Strong background in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
- Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for various ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and food safety management practices
- Experience with catering services and restaurant operations is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and service
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food industry standards, and safety procedures
