Job Summary
Looking for an apprentice with a minimum of one year experience in the trades to join the Martin Electric and HVAC team.

Duties
- Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in various settings. Including running circuits, replacing panels, rewiring houses or buildings, lighting installations, diagnostic and repair.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to support project execution.
- Use tools such as multimeters, circuit tracers, phase rotation meters and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
- Support wiring tasks including conduit bending, cable pulling, and wiring makeup as needed.
- Participate in facilities maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards are met
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and mechanical knowledge is preferred
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams clearly
- Strong communication skills in English for effective teamwork and safety instructions
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of facilities maintenance practices
- Prior experience in trades is advantageous.
- Competence with testing instruments such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools
- Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
Martin Electric & HVAC is a dual trade company providing a full range of HVAC and Electrical services for residential and commercial customers.
We are based out of Petaluma, CA. Our work takes us throughout Sonoma county and Marin county.
Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour
