Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash and card transactions accurately while handling cash register operations
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain a clean workspace by cleaning counters, equipment, and dining areas regularly
- Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to hygiene and safety protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
- Assist with bussing tables, sanitation tasks, and ensuring a tidy environment
- Support retail sales transactions when applicable, including grocery or retail store duties
- Follow all food safety management procedures to ensure quality and compliance
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Food service customer order management experience utilizing POS systems such as Aloha or Micros highly desirable
- Background in food preparation, culinary activities, or kitchen experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately with basic math skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks
- Experience with operating kitchen equipment and maintaining sanitation standards is advantageous
- Retail or grocery store experience can be beneficial for understanding retail math and sales processes
