Primary Responsibilities
This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and serves as a key operational leader supporting Finance, Human Resources, Recruiting and Business Development, The foundation of this role is accounting and finance administration — the ideal candidate brings hands-on accounting experience and builds from that base to support HR administration, recruiting coordination, and business development support.
Finance & Accounting Support
- Assist with banking and general ledger support, including balance sheet account reconciliations (accounts payable, accounts receivable, accrued expenses).
- Prepare month-end journal entries for approval and assist with bank reconciliations.
- Assist with weekly accounts payable processing.
- Prepare monthly client billing.
- Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare recurring financial schedules and monthly management reports.
- Oversee expense reporting and employee reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policy.
- Maintain financial records and documentation.
- Support internal controls and segregation of duties.
- Assist with compliance requests and support the external CPA relationship.
Human Resources Administration
- Assist with payroll processing and payroll administration.
- Support benefits administration and annual open enrollment, including 401(k) contribution processing and retirement plan administration support.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Prepare offer letters and employment documentation.
- Maintain personnel files and HR records.
- Support benefits administration and employee communications.
- Assist with recruiting coordination and interview scheduling.
- Maintain HR policies and forms.
Recruiting & Talent Pipeline
- Support firm leadership in building a proactive talent pipeline across executive leadership consultant levels — research and identify prospective candidates and maintain the pipeline database.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms; support leadership’s outreach to executive-level candidates.
- Coordinate interviews and candidate communications.
Administrative Support
- Maintain operational calendars and recurring deadlines.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and maintain corporate records.
- Assist with office administration and operational projects.
- Document and improve internal processes.
Marketing & Business Development Support
- Actively build business development target pipeline.
- Monitor healthcare industry news to identify organizations experiencing operational or financial challenges, and build target prospect lists.
- Draft and send outreach communications — email and LinkedIn — introducing BDC’s services, working from campaigns developed with firm leadership.
- Manage outreach follow-up, track responses in the CRM, and schedule introductory conversations between prospective clients and BDC leadership.
- Maintain the CRM, including database maintenance, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance administration, including payroll, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience in HR administration, recruiting coordination, and executive support.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Preferred
- Experience with payroll (e.g., Paychex), expense systems (e.g., Expensify), QuickBooks, and time-tracking systems.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP.
- Experience with client outreach, business development support, or talent sourcing.
Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
