Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. You will be a first person that incoming students see. Your kindness and warm energy is so important to any person coming into something they may not be too familiar with. We'd love to have someone passionate about the arts, and specifically dance. We strive to share the joy of dancing with our community no matter their background. In order for this to happen, we need your organization, responsibility, and care to radiate throughout the studio.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage phone systems with professionalism, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate calendar management, and handle incoming inquiries promptly.
- Perform tasks accurately using software such as Microsoft Outlook, Google Workspace, Canva, and our own Fred Astaire software.
- Maintain organized filing systems, including document proofreading and record keeping.
- Assist with duties such as copying, scanning, and preparing correspondence or reports to ensure office efficiency.
- Provide customer support by addressing questions or concerns with courteous phone etiquette and timely responses.
- Create and manage social media posts.
Experience
- Prior office experience is valued, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with office software including Microsoft Outlook, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and Canva.
- Ability to learn data entry, filing, proofreading, and maintaining accurate records.
- Experience working with phone systems and providing exceptional customer service in a professional setting.
