We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at a newly opening Courtyard by Marriott. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong work ethic. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and quality standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation and following all food safety guidelines.
We are looking for an individual to work part-time, evening shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook items using various methods such as grilling, frying, and following standardized recipes and quality guidelines
- Prepare and organize ingredients and supplies for the station before and during service
- Keep the cooking area clean, sanitize surfaces and equipment, and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Perform inventory checks, complete storage logs, and report any stock needs
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to work weekends
