Job Title: Night Shift Safety Supervisor
Shift: 11PM-7:30AM
Level: Hourly
Department: Safety
Reports to: Safety Superintendent
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Flexibility to work any and on weekends as needed
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative, adapt, and achieve results with minimal supervision
- Must have the ability to complete thorough incident investigations
- Must be able to maintain composure during stressful/emergency situations
- Must be able to carry out multiple assignments concurrently
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to write, read, and interpret documents such as written safety programs, operating and procedure manuals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office
- Must be coachable and have the professional ability to coach others
- Must be able to handle and manage confidential information
- Prior performance evaluations scores should meet or exceed expectations
- 1-3 Years of leadership experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in health and safety programs and compliance
• Manufacturing and general industry experience • Public speaking experience
