Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 3:30pm. It is also required to be available to respond to emergencies after hours.
FLATS LLC, a ProperXPM company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and
hep maintain our scattered site apartment community portfolio in uptown. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on
maintenance experience in residential properties who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of

Requirements

Complete assigned maintenance work orders promptly and effectively.

Perform maintenance tasks in vacant units to prepare them for new residents ("apartment turns").

Maintain common areas of the building, including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and amenities.

Conduct pool and seasonal amenity maintenance, including cleaning and basic equipment checks.

Identify and resolve minor plumbing and electrical issues.

Perform light carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, and general building repairs.

Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.

Maintain the property’s exterior, including trash pickup and snow removal.

Respond to on-call, after-hours maintenance emergencies on a rotating schedule.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all areas meet safety standards.

Collaborate with the Property Manager and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests during maintenance visits.

Valid driver's license required.
Qualifications

Proven experience in apartment or building maintenance, or a related trade.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.

Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, etc.).

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
