Available Schedule
We are looking for team members interested in working approximately 8-18 hours per weekend.
Primary shifts available:
- Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sundays: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
You are not required to work every weekend, and you are not required to work both days every weekend unless you would like to.
Additional weekday shifts may also be available for candidates looking for more hours.
What You'll Be Doing
Every day is different, but responsibilities may include:
- Feeding, watering, and caring for dogs
- Taking dogs outside for potty breaks and exercise
- Administering medications as directed
- Bathing dogs before they go home
- Providing enrichment activities and playtime
- Monitoring dogs for changes in health or behavior
- Taking fun photos and videos for social media
- Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, crates, floors, and common areas
- Assisting with laundry, dishes, and general facility upkeep
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating concerns with management
Our team works with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities—from outgoing social butterflies to shy, nervous, and anxious dogs. We place a strong emphasis on understanding canine behavior and helping dogs feel safe and successful during their stay.

This is not a desk job. You'll be on your feet most of the day walking, bending, lifting, scrubbing, mopping, carrying supplies, and handling dogs of various sizes. The work can be physically demanding, but it's also incredibly rewarding.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Must be physically capable of lifting, bending, standing, and performing cleaning duties throughout the day
- Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required
- Experience in pet care, dog handling, grooming, veterinary medicine, or customer service is a plus
- Basic social media skills are helpful
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
Because dogs need care every day, our team works weekends and holidays throughout the year. Holiday scheduling is shared among team members whenever possible.
