Our company is looking for a Clinical Nurse who has strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. The successful candidate will have experience administering medication as well as experience writing progress notes in an efficient manner. We are also looking for an individual who can develop and maintain effective relationships with our patients, families and referring physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Patient care is top priority.
- Gather and record health data.
- Coordinate with other members of the medical staff to accomplish medical objectives of the organization.
- Know and perform basic medical terminology.
- Read and record observations from instruments that detect vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate on pediatric patients.
- Assess patients' reactions to treatment.
- Provide education on disease processes or general well being to patients and their families.
- Administer vaccines.
- Schedule referrals to specialists.
- Deliver diagnostic test results to patient and/or guardian.
- Stock supplies and order as needed.
- Detailed chart documentation
