Farm Operations Technician (Part-Time)

Pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Part-time (2–3 days per week)

About T's Farm
T's Farm is a 210-acre agritourism destination in Baker, Florida where agriculture, outdoor recreation, education, and hospitality come together. Our property features fishing ponds, hunting opportunities, gardens, educational programming, farm-to-table events, and special events throughout the year.
We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated Farm Operations Technician to work alongside our Farm Manager maintaining and improving the property while helping prepare the farm for guests, agricultural operations, and special events.
No two days are the same, and that's exactly how we like it.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractors, mowers, loaders, and a variety of farm implements safely and efficiently.
- Perform mowing, weed trimming, brush clearing, and general grounds maintenance.
- Assist with planting, harvesting, irrigation, and seasonal agricultural projects.
- Maintain farm roads, trails, fencing, gates, ponds, and recreational areas.
- Prepare the property for fishing events, educational programs, weddings, and other special events.
- Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure tools are clean, organized, and operational.
- Support hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation operations as needed.
- Work safely in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding outdoor work.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience operating tractors and agricultural equipment.
- Experience using farm implements such as rotary cutters (bush hogs), box blades, tillers, loaders, or similar equipment.
- Experience with lawn care and property maintenance.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work independently.
Preferred (Highly Valued):
- Woodworking or carpentry experience.
- Aquaculture, pond management, or fisheries experience.
- Basic mechanical skills and equipment maintenance.
- Welding or fabrication experience.
- Experience working on farms, ranches, hunting properties, parks, golf courses, or large estates.

Experience
Preferred experience in one or more of the following:
- Tractor operation
- Farm or ranch work
- Grounds or landscape maintenance
- Heavy equipment operation
- Property maintenance
- Carpentry or woodworking
- Aquaculture or pond management
Expected hours: 16–24 per week
